'Lifes' Moments - To be or NOT to be...

So you know those moments and I'm sure every body's had one of these at least once in their lifetime... If not I suppose your lucky in a way...

But for me reflection is something that happens to me almost on a daily basis and though it was a nuisance when I was younger, it is now one of my strongest assets. Only because it allows a certain amount of stepping back from all situations little or big, and in doing so therefore allows a "bigger picture" type perspective to also be incorporated into daily decisions and tasks...

So now to the point... This particular moment is the one where your usually doing the mundane and you're thinking back.. Often with thought of "what if I had done this then, instead of that...." or "If only I hadn't done that..." or the destructive " I really wish I hadn't done that...". These thoughts can only be helpful in small doses and if they are few and far between...
But to allow oneself to dwell for long periods of time in these thought processes can ultimately be damaging to ones confidence and self esteem... NOT GOOD..

So it's important I feel for individuals to understand that even though we may find ourselves in hard and uncomfortable circumstances, and regardless of whether those circumstances were of our own doing or beyond our control, nothing that has happened can be changed or altered, future reactions can equal them out, but you can't change the past...

Reality is most of the time no matter how much you wish something wasn't or is... you will probably find that some other circumstance that more than likely will prove positive, would never of occurred if things had not gone wrong or happened the way they did...

This basically is the whole "Every dark cloud has a silver lining" metaphoric moment... but regardless I felt the need to share the fact that they occur, as these moments are a part of everyday 'Life'...

But to be able to live an ultimately fulfilling 'Life'... it's important that these type of moments are recognised and accredited because they provide us with hindsight perspective... also it contributes to the whole aspect of problem solving....

But the ultimate aim in 'Life'... is to always look and move forward, no matter the setbacks... it's with these moments, combined with the determination to succeed, that we gain wisdom and knowledge to always be able to deal easier and better with all of 'Life's.. unpredictable and sometimes predictable circumstances...

Therefore to succeed in 'Life'... it is simply allowing ourselves to always and relentlessly grow....♥

Dion X Leigh ON AIR THIS FRIDAY 2DAYFM...!!!

New Zealand born singer/songwriter DionX has come a long way from a shy schoolboy, treading the boards as a young performer in his hometown of Palmerston North.

DionX has always had a strong creative streak.

His experience and interests have covered,  script-writing, modeling, acting, fashion design, upholstery, web and graphic design. As a result,  he is also a self-confessed work-aholic and an impatient perfectionist.

Music remains his first love and he has worked hard on his craft as a singer/songwriter and performer to be now co-producing his own material and working with international award winning producers.

DionX' career has spanned over several mediums such as music, television and live performances across Australia and New Zealand.

But DionX' big break came while appearing in the TVNZ reality show 'Make or Break'. Show-casing his performing talent, but also his ability to be resourceful and demonstrate brilliant business acumen, as he single-handedly and pro-actively managed his own segment overseeing all aspects of production - PR/film-crew/venue etc on a budget of NZ$300.00.

Proving huge budgets are not  the be all and end all to a projects success.

Soon after the 'Big Break' aired, DionX was on a plane and on his way to Australia where he continued to write and produce his own music as well as performing at local venues and community events, with more film/TV appearances such as the feature film 'The Extra'.

Musically DionX draws influences from artists such as Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Robbie Williams.

When asked what it is about these artists he likes he replies;  'All these artists are great performers and entertainers as well as formidable business entrepreneurs and they all show great admiration, respect and humility to their loyal fans. They inspire me to keep doing what I love everyday. Being on stage and performing is what I live for, it's where I find inner peace'.

DionX is most definitely a driven, ambitious entrepreneur who has achieved amazing results in the face of adversity and all the countless pit-falls this industry is known for.

Self-made talent is rare, making DionX even more unique.
Few have lasted this long and DionX is one who definitely does not take  “No”  for an answer.
